Products and Packaging

Do your products contain any harmful ingredients?

Our formulas use only high-quality, human-grade ingredients that are gentle on your dogs sensitive skin and safe on your hands too.

Our products are FREE from: parabens, sulfates, PEGS, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, SLS, SLES, sulfates, petrolatum, mineral oils, silicones, MEA, DEA, TEA, EDTA, propylene glycol and artificial colours.

You can read more about what to look for in your dogs grooming products in our blog here.

Are your products tested on animals?

Absolutely not. We are proudly 100% cruelty-free. Our products are lovingly made in the UK, and we adhere to the strictest ethical standards. Animal testing on finished cosmetic and grooming products, as well as their ingredients, has been banned in the UK since 1998, and across the entire European Union since 2013.

With modern advancements in science and the extensive research available on ingredients, there's simply no need for animal testing. We ensure all our formulations are safe and effective through rigorous, cruelty-free methods.

Our products are only ever "tested" lovingly on our own furry friends once we're confident they are safe and gentle for your beloved pets.

Are your products vegan?

We use only plant-based ingredients, with one exception: The Nourishing Fluff, oatmeal and honey range contains a touch of honey. Honey is not classed as vegan.

We always keep it honest so you can decide what’s right for your pup.

Everything else? 100% vegan.

Can I use the products on myself?

While our products do smell good enough to borrow, they’re specially made for dogs.

Canine skin has a very different pH to ours, and using dog products on humans could throw your skin out of balance. We recommend saving the fluff-friendly formulas for your pup.

Where are your grooming products made?

All our grooming products are made in the UK.

Are your products pH balanced?

Yes! All of our products are carefully pH balanced to match a dog’s skin which is slightly more neutral than ours.

Is your packaging eco-friendly?

Yes, we’ve carefully chosen sustainable materials across our range. Our grooming products come in infinitely recyclable aluminium bottles. We also ship your orders in fully recyclable boxes with eco-conscious packing materials.

Learn more about why we chose aluminium and how to recycle your pumps in the questions below.

Why do you use aluminium bottles and not plastic?

We’ve chosen aluminium for our grooming bottles because it’s durable, high quality, and endlessly recyclable. Unlike plastic, which can only be recycled a handful of times, aluminium can be recycled forever without losing quality.

It’s also far more sustainable:

  • Recycling aluminium uses 95% less energy than producing it from raw materials.
  • 75% of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today.

(In comparison, only around 9% of plastic ever produced has been recycled. The rest ends up in landfills or polluting the environment.)

Yes, it’s a more expensive choice, but for us, sustainability isn’t optional.

Are your aluminium bottles safe to use?

Yes. To ensure our natural formulas remain pristine and safe for your pet, our aluminium bottles have a thin, food-grade epoxy lining. This creates a protective barrier, preventing any interaction between the product and the metal, ensuring stability and purity.

Are your plastic pumps recyclable?

Our bottles currently include plastic pumps, but we’re actively exploring more sustainable alternatives. In the meantime, you can choose to purchase your products with a screw cap, allowing you to reuse a pump you already have and reduce waste.

Pumps are made from mixed materials, so they’re tricky to recycle in standard bins. If you’re in the UK, you can drop used pumps at most Boots stores for recycling. For other regions, check your local facilities for specialised recycling options.

Giving Back

How do you give back to dog rescue charities?

We’re passionate about building a brand that gives back. That’s why we donate £1 from every order to dog rescue charities doing incredible work. Right now, we’re proudly supporting Happy Doggo, a charity close to our hearts.
